Welcome to Your Accounting Sherpa: The guide you need for the journey ahead

✨ Today’s the day ✨ After months of planning, creating, and starting to share sneak peeks, I am beyond excited to officially welcome you to Your Accounting Sherpa. It’s still a work in progress, as the member space will always be regularly updated, but it was time to unleash it.

If you’ve ever thought:

• “I feel lost in QuickBooks.”

• “I wish someone could just explain this in plain English.”

• “Why does ‘debiting my bank’ account mean something totally different in accounting speak.”

• “Why is accounting so dumb.” (trust me, this one happens all the time, haha)

Then you’re exactly who this was created for. I know what it’s like to feel stuck — honestly, I have felt that way MANY times in creating this space. I’m not a web developer, nor a marketing manager (I have no idea what I’m doing here, Instagram algorithms have me stumped), nor a Community creator. And I felt like I was bumbling my way through it many times over the past months as I created this all on my own. But, with that being said, I also know how powerful and satisfying it feels when the pieces finally click.

Here’s How We’re Different
This isn’t accounting school — this is not a course. You’re not trying to become an accountant! You already have a job. It’s just real, straightforward support that hopefully helps makes sense of the madness.

And also, and maybe more importantly, I’m not your accountant. I don’t know the inner workings or nuances of your business and your books — and that’s by design. It’s a flexible, always-there resource built around your schedule and your pace. Whether you clear out your QuickBooks every Friday morning or tackle it once a month with a glass of wine in hand, the tools are here when you need them. Stuck? Search the library and hit play. Want to know what your peers are doing? Ask in the member community — you might find someone in your industry who's dealt with the same thing.

I call it being your Sherpa* — guiding you on the climb and generally keeping you company as you go so you don’t feel alone.

*And actually, it was my husband who came up with the name. My initial business name idea was very lame… and confusing.
